Installation
Honest Solar is the licensed Texas electrical contractor of record (TECL #40995) for commercial PV and battery installations: permitting, interconnection filing, and electrical scope, executed from approved plans and engineering.
Based in Austin, with strong registration coverage across Texas AHJs and utility programs. For an out-of-state developer, that means crews already on the ground, and substantially lower overhead and mobilization costs.
Ownership brings 24 years of combined commercial project management, senior PM, and construction management experience.
Third-Party Inspection & Diagnostics
Independent assessment of systems installed by others: condition documentation to support an acquisition, punch-list and completion review, and diagnostic investigation of an underperforming system.
Findings are reported as observed. We accept inspection work only where we have no relationship to the original installer, and we disclose any relationship before accepting an engagement.
Site Assessment
On-site documentation of roof condition (material, age as observed, visible wear, existing penetrations, attachment points), electrical service capacity, shading, and access, delivered as findings.
We are a licensed electrical contractor, not a structural engineer or roofing contractor. We do not render a load-bearing determination or a roof-service-life opinion. What we collect (framing type, dimensions, attachment points, photographs) is scoped to what a P.E. needs to make that determination.
